If one wants to read a bit before going to bed, one should not pick up a book in Lee&Miller's Liaden Universe (tm) on the theory that you've read it many many times before, practically know it by heart, and therefore will be able to stop after reading just a chapter or two. Eleven-thirty turns to one-thirty, and you still struggle to put the book down and turn out the light.
Thanks for the three questions already submitted to the host of the internet radio talk show, The Midnight Hour. (She read them to me last night when we touched base about the interview tonight.) She can take 8-10 questions in the time allotted, however. So, please, send questions! Even if you're not planning on listening to the interview, send in questions that you think other people might be interested in hearing the answer to. Email sally@sallysmidnighthour.com with a subject line of "Question for Jennifer Dunne".
Questions so far:
1) Shadow Prince is a reissue. How's it different from the original?
2) Not Quite Camelot and Shadow Prince are books 1 and 2 of the World Gates series. Are there more?
3) How does having paranormal / magical experiences of your own inform your writing?
Things we're planning on discussing:
-- Writing a series
-- My experiences with magic/the paranormal (including telepathy and manifestation)
-- How magic and paranormal powers are a metaphor for a character's sense of self acceptance
-- A how-to so the listener can try manifesting
-- Reading an excerpt from Not Quite Camelot
-- The October 9-15 workshop I'll teach on Sally's Paranormal Workshop list
